This website

A preview site we build for you, or a website after we hand it over, records that a page was opened, roughly how long it stayed open, and a one-way scrambled version of the network address it came from. That scrambling cannot be reversed back into your address. This marketing site, the pages you are reading now, does not. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party ad cookies anywhere.

The free profile scan

When you run a scan we keep the email address you give us, the business name and city (or Google Maps link) you name, and the public information we fetch about that Google listing. The fetching is done by Apify, an outside data service that reads the same public Google page anyone can open. We also check whether the website listed on the profile loads, and what it looks like from outside. We delete scan results on request, and we clear them out periodically.

The free website audit

When you run a website audit we keep the email, business name, city and website address you give us, and what we read from that site's public pages: titles, headings, links and a short sample of the text, never the pages themselves. We ask Google's PageSpeed service to time the homepage and run one Google search for the business name. We delete audit results on request, and we clear them out periodically.

The website builder

The builder keeps the business details you type, any photos you upload, and the preview site we generate from them. The details you type are sent to Anthropic, the AI company whose model writes the first draft of your site's text, and to nobody else. We delete unpurchased previews on request, and we clear them out periodically.

Buying a website

Stripe processes the payment on Stripe's own pages. We never see or store card numbers. Stripe passes us the confirmation and the email address used, which we keep as the record of the purchase. Stripe's policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

Booking a call

The scheduling page is Calendly. What you type into it (your name, email, and anything you write in the notes) goes to Calendly and to us, so we know who we are meeting.

The contact form

Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, an email delivery service. They carry whatever you typed: your name, email, phone if you gave one, and your message.

Spam protection

Forms on this site are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a browser is a browser and not a script. It sees your network address and basic browser information for that check.

Hosting and storage

The site runs on Vercel and its data lives in Supabase. Both hold whatever is described above on our behalf.

Owner alerts

When a scan, a build, or a message comes in, a notification goes to Jakob's own phone and inbox. Nobody else receives it.
