Purchase terms

You pay 850 dollars, once, for the finished website you reviewed, set up on accounts that belong to you, with two rounds of edits and a guided hosting setup included. After handover the website is entirely yours. Kempema Design retains no ownership of it and no access to it.

The one-time fee covers the finished website as it appeared in your preview, including any changes you made in the editor before buying; setup on your own domain, hosting, and database accounts; two rounds of edits requested within 14 days of purchase; and step-by-step guidance through the hosting setup.

This is not a subscription, and we charge no monthly fees. The only ongoing cost is what you pay other companies directly in your own name, normally around 12 dollars a year for the domain. Hosting and the database run on those companies' free plans as set up.

An edit round is one list of change requests, sent together. Gather everything you want changed, send it as a single list, and we make those changes as one batch. Separate messages on separate days are separate rounds, so collecting your changes before sending protects your second round.

Edit rounds cover changes to the website as delivered: wording, photos, colors, and the arrangement of existing sections. They do not cover new pages, new features, logo design, a different overall design, or ongoing maintenance. Work outside that scope, or after both rounds are used, is quoted separately as its own agreement.

Both rounds must be requested within 14 days of purchase. After that, the included edits expire.

You could view and edit the complete website before purchasing. For that reason, all sales are final and no refunds are issued once payment is made. Changes after purchase happen through the two included edit rounds.

On full payment, ownership of the website's design, layout, and written content transfers to your business. Once handover finishes, the domain, hosting, and database accounts are yours, the login details are yours, and we remove our own access. From that point Kempema Design holds no ownership stake in the website and no control over it.

The underlying template code and design system we reuse across projects remain ours. You receive a permanent license to keep using them in your website. This license lets us build sites for other businesses without ever giving anyone a copy of yours.

The website displays your business information, your Google reviews, and photos you provided, uploaded, or that appear on your public listings. You are responsible for having the right to use the photos and content you add. You are also responsible for the accuracy of claims about your business, including anything you typed into the editor yourself.

If you believe content on a preview we host infringes your rights, email jakob@kempemadesign.co and we will review and remove it promptly.

After handover, running the website is up to you. We are not responsible for the site's uptime, for changes made by you or anyone you give access to, for the third-party services it runs on, or for keeping backups. The included edit rounds are the only services owed after purchase; anything further is a new agreement.

We make no promises about business results. A website helps people find and trust you. It does not guarantee customers or search rankings.

If we fail to deliver what is described here, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business.

These terms are the whole agreement between us for this purchase. If we agree to something different in writing, the written agreement wins.
